Our Locations

While there are many surgeons who practice plastic surgery in San Diego, only a select few have their offices located on the campus of world renowned Scripps Memorial Hospital, La Jolla. The La Jolla office of Dr. Chaffoo and Dr. Stuart of La Jolla Plastic Surgery & Dermatology was established in the XIMED Medical Center. Both physicians are on staff at Scripps Memorial Hospitals and have held leadership positions at the Encinitas and La Jolla campus locations. Dr. Chaffoo is on the plastic surgery staff at Scripps Memorial Hospital, La Jolla. He was the former Chief of Plastic Surgery at Scripps Memorial Hospital, Encinitas.  Dr. Stuart is on the dermatology staff at Scripps Memorial Hospital, La Jolla where she served two terms as the Chief of the Dermatology Division.

Located in prestigious La Jolla, the Scripps/XiMED Medical Center is home to over 100 XiMED doctors. This facility, which opened in 1992, now includes world-renowned physicians in all fields of medical practice and contains some of the most modern medical equipment in the region.

The XiMED building was designed to bring the latest in technology to patients in a comfortable, simple-to-navigate environment. Patients enjoy no-hassle referrals because practices work closely together and additional services are located on-site. The building is home to the Scripps Imaging Center, Scripps Outpatient Surgery Center, and Scripps Polster Breast Care Center. Other specialized services are available nearby in Scripps Memorial Hospital.

The XIMED medical building is located on the campus of Scripps Memorial Hospital, La Jolla which is consistently ranked amongst the top hospitals in the USA by U.S. News & World Report each year and San Diego’s top hospital.

Our other Southern California office is located in the Newport Beach area with CosmetiCare, a highly respected plastic surgery group practice in Orange County established in 1982. This additional practice location allows us to provide care for all our patients in the Los Angeles and Orange County communities.
